Wooter Apparel Teams-Up With XFC To Outfit Fighters At Young Guns 4 On December 10 At DeltaPlex Arena

Sponsored by Wooter Apparel, XFC fighters will be provided with custom made warmups for Young Guns 4 on December 10 while X-Girl ring attendants will be donning customized sports tops and shorts.

When fighters hit the cage at Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC) Young Guns 4 on Saturday, December 10 at the DeltaPlex Arena & Conference Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, they’ll be officially sporting Wooter Apparel.

Broadcasted live on Fox Sports 2 and Fox Deportes, Kenny “The Boss” Cross makes his highly anticipated return to the XFC lightweight division for the first time in over a year against challenger Jose “Lil’ Juggernaut” Martinez. Widely regarded as one of the most exciting young fighters in the fight game today, Cross boasts a 12-3 record on the strength of six-straight wins despite the layoff from injury, training, and his upcoming return to XFC. Meanwhile, Martinez (12-5) comes to Young Guns 4 with a strong fight record that includes winning four of his past five bouts and eight wins by stoppage.

Sponsored by Wooter Apparel, XFC fighters will be provided with custom made warmups while X-Girl ring attendants will be donning customized sports tops and shorts. For Wooter Apparel, the chance to team-up with XFC to outfit fighters at Young Guns 4 marks yet another MMA sponsorship as Wooter has previously created unique customized apparel for UFC fighter Matt “Steamrolla” Frevola, MMA fighter Yadir Perez, and sports personality, Dave “The Schmo” Schmuleson.

Established in 2006, the Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC) had a vision to seek out, sign, and brand a new generation of Mixed Martial Arts Fighters – XFC Fighters. XCF assembles the most exciting and well rounded MMA fighters from around the globe and competes in all major weight classes for both men and women. XFC’s fighter-centric leadership team prides itself on discovering the next generation of rising superstars, and showcasing them in the same hexagon as today’s top veteran fighters.

Backed by the Executive Team of Steve Smith (CEO & Chairman), Myron Molotky (President), Matt Frendo (Vice President of Fight Operations), the XFC believes the most talented MMA fighters have yet to be discovered as the organizational model rewards fighters who seek out and accept the toughest challengers. Because of this belief, the organization’s popularity has grown exponentially since its inception, labeled as “The Next Generation of MMA”

Part of that next generation is perfectly captured on the XFC’s Young Guns 4 thanks to fighters like Kenny Cross, Jose Martinez, and Austin Bashi and Reshal Malik who headline the Co-Main Event. An undefeated super prospect, the 20-year-old Bashi tries to climb to 6-0 against Malik (3-3-1) in the XFC's loaded bantamweight division. Recently added fights include Abe Sagir vs. Isaiah Podbregar, Dennis Hughes Jr. vs. Ryse "Showtyme" Brink, Jorden McDonald vs. Austin Limberger, and Atty Belanger vs. Wendy Anundson.

“We were devastated for Kenny Cross when he suffered a very serious injury last year and had to pull out of the XFC’s Lightweight Tournament, but we are incredibly excited to have him back inside the Hexagon, and taking on such a tough opponent like Jose Martinez,” said Matt Frendo.

“These guys are going to put on a show Dec. 10, and I can’t wait for the world to witness.”

Fighting out of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Martinez trains with American Elite MMA and is coming off a victory ( a first round submission of Shakir McKillip) in July at Martial Combat League 1 at Stride Bank Center in Enid, Oklahoma. For Kenny Cross, it’s a homecoming of sorts for the 27-year-old fighter out of Hastings, Michigan.

“Kenny Cross is undoubtedly one of the most exciting and popular fighters we’ve seen in the XFC Hexagon, and Jose Martinez is surely his toughest challenge yet,” added Steve Smith.

“We’re thrilled to bring this matchup to fans in a packed house at The DeltaPlex Arena and around the world with our global broadcast partners such as HBO, Fox, and of course our XFCTV Fightworld channel. Dec. 10 will determine if Kenny really is ‘The Boss’ of the XFC.”
